Business Plan Development

Health Integration Partners creates business plans through extensive interviewing and data collection from the organization’s administrators and providers of care, as well as architects, statisticians and potential investors. Business planning can be done in stages;

  • Market Demand
  • Appropriate Clinical Programming
  • Clinical Volumes, Staffing and Capital Equipment
  • Comprehensive Financial Analysis

The information provided results in a five year plan that identifies all components of the operations that can easily be converted into budgeting.

Independent Consulting

Health Integration Partners provides independent analysis and reporting of existing or planned services. We complete onsite analysis and operations review for post-acute care services. A report of the findings is provided, with recommendations of action plans and expected results. This service is provided on a per diem or retainer method.

Benchmarking from our database is used to help the Health System or physician group ascertain how their facility operations are doing in comparison to others. Health Integration Partners provides reliable data with measurable objectives for improvement in the financial and operational aspects of the service. Action plans are presented that can be followed by administration.

Operations Management

Health Integration Partners can be contracted to provide continued oversight of the operations of services in an integrated approach. The company works with the senior hospital administration to provide oversight management and report key performance indicators to the organization.

Such ongoing services include monthly analysis of operation with comparison to "benchmarking" with other managed facilities. Further development and integration of services often is completed as part of this process as well.

These contracts are usually a minimum of 18 months. This allows enough time to make the necessary changes identified by Health Integration Partners.

Pre-Opening Management

Health Integration Partners provides ongoing management for the project from the point of board approval through six months after opening. The work performed during this time frame includes:

  • Input on facility design from a cost and function standpoint

  • Development of the organizational chart, and how this venture may best fit within the organization

  • Ongoing development of clinical services integration into the programming of the facility

  • Ongoing fiscal review of the project from building, equipment and operations

  • Selection and management of capital equipment for the services within the facility

  • National and local recruitment of the management team

  • Hiring and selection of the management team with the healthcare provider

  • Creation of the monthly operations budget and measures of success

  • Identification and oversight of the human resource, information technology and financial management of the project with the owners

  • Direction of public relations, communications, marketing and sales for the facility during pre-opening and operations

  • Providing national contracting discounts for some of the major equipment for the facility

  • Provision of all operating manuals dealing with human resources, job descriptions, operations of the facility, management reporting of all indicators, financial management and outcome measurements

  • Identification of the information technology for the fitness and rehabilitation services equipment necessary to provide feedback to the member and in some cases, the referring physician and/or employer

  • Input on pros and cons of for-profit and not-for-profit

Services are always provided by the principal of the company, G. Curt Meyer, FACHE, assuring senior level input to the client.

We limit the number of concurrent contracts in order to best serve the needs of our partners and facilitate timely and accurate information exchange. Our comprehensive services cover all aspects in development, delivery and ongoing evaluation of the project.
